Who we are

Gashtak Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11876157), registered office: 30 Churchill Place, London, E14 5RE, United Kingdom. We run the Gashtak podcast and community at gashtak.group and are the data controller for the information below. Contact: salom@gashtak.club

What we collect and why

  • When you send a sponsorship enquiry. Your name, company, email, phone number (optional), the format you are interested in and your message. We use them to reply, send you our media kit and discuss a possible partnership. Legal basis: steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms.
  • When you visit the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are read, which site sent you, your country and your type of device. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
  • To run the site safely. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and technical request data to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.
  • Embedded videos. Book pages show the podcast episode in a YouTube player in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube (Google) may collect data and set cookies when you play the video. See Google's privacy policy. Episode thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's servers.
  • Your colour choice. If you switch the site's accent colour, the choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.
  • Internal tools. We use Google APIs, read-only, to read the statistics of our own YouTube channel. Only Gashtak uses this tool; it does not access anyone else's Google account.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact with you. If an enquiry becomes a contract, the related records are kept for 6 years for accounting and tax reasons.

Who else handles it

Only the providers named above: Web3Forms, Cloudflare, and Google when you play a video. Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on UK-approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it. Email salom@gashtak.club; we reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
